Item Description
1x1.5x6" long tin litho, unmarked but believed by Distler c. 1920s. Very nicely detailed including crew members in the two gondolas. Attached is the original string mechanism w/pair of metal finger loops. When the bottom loop is pulled, it causes the dirigible to ascend up the string as the large propeller rotates. Paint on one side of rudder is much darker than the opposite side but appears to be as made. Toy has widely scattered tiny paint nicks but is overall VF. One of the nicest penny toys we've ever offered.
