Item Description
2.5x2.5x.75" deep tin litho c. 1930s. Top features clown portrait and monkey playing a saxophone. Images on sides are of other clowns, circus performers and animals. Underside trap door has additional image of clown w/monkey. As listed in Pocket Banks price guide by Peirce is variety known as "Orange Hat" as a second version exists w/much darker red coloring. Thin streak of bare metal around top outer rim edge, other tiny traces of paint wear but glossy and bright overall. VF.
