Item Description
Elaborate 9" long tin litho toy featuring Joe Palooka's friend and copyright Ham Fisher. 1950s. Box panels include comic strip reprint of Humphrey and his unusual vehicle. Box is heavily worn, extensive tape repairs, ink markings on one side. Fair/Good. Toy has built-in key and works. Travels around as Humphrey waves his right arm, his hat moves, legs move as if he is peddling. Body of the vehicle is designed as a small wooden house and has a back door which opens. Complete with small plastic stove pipe on roof which is usually missing. Toy has widely scattered tiny paint nicks/scratches but remains totally bright and glossy. VF.
