Item Description
11" tall overall made of tin litho and composition, with plush/fabric and built-in key. By Alps, Japan 1950s. Box has heavy wear including creases, side splits, tears, 3" piece missing from one lid panel. Good. Toy features clown holding onto rod which operates monkey on trapeze. Works. Trace of aging to clown outfit. Otherwise very little wear. Exc. Many variations of trapeze wind-ups were produced over the years and this in one of the nicest.
