Item Description
13.5” tall by Nomura Toys/Louis Galoob. 1960s. This is the second version – “Mod Monster.” Instead of usual Frankenstein monster-style clothes, this monster wears Nehru jacket and is complete with necklace complete with medallion. This base design differs slightly from the earlier version as well. Toy has vinyl head/hands and feet, fabric outfit and tin litho base. Toy works. Frankenstein produces a screeching noise as he moves his upper body and arms. His pants then fall to expose underwear as his face lights red as if embarrassed. Clean and Exc. Box has numerous handling creases with a 1.25” tear at bottom middle edge of main panel. Fine.
