Item Description
Large nicely illustrated box is 15x21.5x4.5" deep and contains 1960s toy. Box has moderate scattered edge wear, 2" split at top right corner but remains clean and Fine. The main unit of the toy is a large vacuform plastic base w/attached tin litho bridge and train station. Base is incredibly detailed w/images of buildings including factories and a church, hotel resort w/swimming pool and sunbathing people, camp grounds, Shell service station, boats, cars, etc. Inside of train station includes windows for "Tickets/Baggage/Information." Comes w/single 3" long tin litho train car w/illustrations of passengers at the windows. Train comes w/"Technofix" key and works. Train car travels around the tracks on the base. Toy originally came w/second car but this is missing. The "A" lever at lower left, which was used to direct the cars into the inner circle, is missing the plunger tab but enough of this piece remains so that it can be moved as intended. A second "B" lever is attached to the train station and this can be used to operate two cars simultaneously. Aside from the missing lever, toy is Exc. Great design and detailing.
