Item Description
Large 23.75" dia. brass plaque for display in Footaction shoe store's "walk of fame" (see Larry Bird plaque, lot #762), complete w/large star design w/athlete's name and facsimile signature. 1990s. Plaque honors Dan Marino, who played all 17 NFL seasons w/the Miami Dolphins, being elected NFL MVP in 1984 and 9-time Pro Bowl selection. Marino was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005 (his first year of eligibility). He is currently one of only three former Dolphins to have his jersey number retired. Plaque shows wear from display, w/scuffs and scattered small areas of discoloration. Fine/VF overall and would make a great addition to any Dolphins fan's collection. Due to size and/or weight of this item, shipping charges may be substantial.
