Item Description
8.5x13.5" blank back sheet with New Orleans union bug and naming Franklin Ptg. Co. 627-29 Poydras St. Long titles his text to the people "The Kangaroo Court/Trying To Take Back Louisiana Back To The Days Of Kellogg, Pinchback and Scallawag". His first sentence complains of a "kangaroo court" led by "Republican Senator Howell of Nebraska" being unable to find fraud in an election investigation has now resorted to re-hashing old and (of course) disproved allegations against himself. His "P.S." reminds supporters, even if they are govt. employees, they are allowed to pass these "circulars" along to someone else" to refute lying newspapers" as long as not during their work hours. The bottom 3.5" of the paper has two folds and these have hairline splits totaling 9" repaired on back w/ archival tape. Light toning. Ex-collection of early APIC member Ted Watts. Will display Exc.
