From same c. 1938 set as item #1748. These were produced in two sizes, all of these are the larger variety and are 8" to 10" tall. Beautifully painted and detailed ceramic set. Each is complete with Brayton foil sticker on back although these are a bit aged. Man wearing sombrero has repair to break at ankle only noticeable when viewed closely. One other has tiny glaze nick on chin. Normal and typical light crazing but all remain bright and glossy. Set still displays VF/Exc. These are listed in Disneyana Collectors Guide To California Pottery at $600+ each. In 40 years we have never offered one of these rare figurines let alone a complete set.
