Item Description
7" tall with 2.5" dia. base beautifully painted figurine with mark on underside for this Italian company. This company signed a contract with Disney in 1947 which lasted for about 10 years. This particular piece is c. 1947. Exceptional image of Satyr playing flute while resting on a tree stump, base is surrounded by flowers. A couple of tiny glaze nicks on flute edge and horn tips have been professionally touched up. Piece remains totally bright, glossy and Exc. This company made some of the nicest Disney figurines ever produced and this particular piece is among the best Fantasia figurines we've ever seen. All pieces by this company are rare.
