Item Description
4.5x7.5x7" tall. Depicts Alice reading a book, to one side is the White Rabbit whose mouth is open and serves as the pouring spout, on opposite side is what we believe to be a rook chess piece that serves as the handle. We believe this is c. 1965 and possibly issued for the centennial of the book by Lewis Carroll. No Disney markings but base is marked "Made By Shorter & Son England." This firm began in 1878 and took this name in 1928, eventually being bought out by Crown Devon and ended in 1974. Exc. First we've seen.
