Item Description
4.5" long w/1.75" framed cello disc. Early career item of the future Vice President and author of the famous post-WWI loan policy. Youthful and mustachioed sepia portrait of the candidate from his unsuccessful run for the U.S. Senate to represent Illinois in 1902. An indentation at 2 o'clock on the cello that amounts to uneven surface to the touch and seen in reflected light. Ribbon has light handing, two diagonal creases, and a few tiny holes w/a minor vertical pull above the "D" in "Dawes". Overall extremely Fine.
