Item Description
Vol. 1, #26, Sep. 25, 1953 features 3-page article titled "How They Make Superman Fly." Has bw and full color images. Also has full page ad for the 1953 World Series between Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees with image of players including Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle. Classic cover features full color image of George Reeves as Clark Kent flying above as Superman plus text "George Reeves - Man And Superman." Finkburg, Maryland address label on back cover. Issue has moderate handling wear/aging with moisture staining along edges and oxidized staples but has nice eye appeal and still displays Good. Also includes regional 4 page WENR-TV 7 guide from 1953 and a George Reeves Superman promotional postcard. Both have lt. aging. Exc. David Barsalou Collection.
