Item Description
Saalfield Numbers 176 (two copies), 196 and 1508 measure 10.75x15.25" and have 32-48 pages to color. ©1940/41 Superman, Inc. Classic Golden Age Superman art throughout, some pages have art that Saalfield used in their puzzles. Coloring books show light to moderate handling wear w/creases to covers and pinch creases to spines. Front covers have classic early Superman images. Evenly aged off-white to cream pages, a few have ragged edges. All books have some colored content and some unused pages. One copy of No. 176 has heavy soiling and moisture staining through book on all sides and some minor insect damage. Other copy of No. 176 also has a few spots of damage as well and a piece of tape on spine. No. 1508 has top right corner off of cover and few pages. Fair to Good overall. Still nice copies, considering their age. David Barsalou Collection.
