Item Description
9.5x11" image areas on thin cardboard cover proofs for 1955 No. 4687:25 and 1958 No. 4583 Saalfield coloring books. Covers feature image of Superman in heroic pose w/three inset images of him in action and other has image of lion biting Superman's arm as children watch. Proofs have no markings. Some corner tip wear and one has lower edge wear, but still VF overall and would look great framed. Comes w/examples of the finished coloring books, one has a page w/a small amount of coloring otherwise unused w/lt. aging/handling wear. Example for No. 4687:25 has No. 2070 but uses same artwork. Some pinch creases along spine. Books are Fine overall. David Barsalou Collection.
