5.5x8.5" to 8.5x11". Four pieces in total. All pro-Rosenberg items from their conviction to shortly after their execution. c. 1951 to 1953. Includes a fact sheet on the Rosenberg case outlining why they should not be convicted; "Americus Brief" petition by the "National Committee To Secure Justice In The Rosenberg Case" criminal justice reform for what it viewed as a breach of the "Constitutional Guarantees Of Impartiality And Fairness In Accordance With The Best Traditions Of American Justice"; "I Call To You Across The Continent": a poem book authored by Edith Segal in commemoration of the wrongful executions of the Rosenbergs; and a broadside w/text "Write Or Wire An Appeal To President Truman, Do Not Let The Rosenbergs Die!" w/details below regarding a clemency rally held at the Manhattan Towers Hotel on December 15, 1952. All have even age toning and moderate edge wear, w/some edge tears in all but the poem book. Petition has some scattered staining. Fine.. An excellent grouping of ephemera pertaining to the conviction and execution of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, one of the most well-known and controversial cases of espionage in U.S. history.
