Item Description
2.75x8". Ribbon features Michigan state seal. A hopeful item for Blaine from a Michigan delegation, dated June 2, 1880. Although Blaine lost the Republican nomination in 1880 to James Garfield, he did win the nomination in the subsequent 1884 campaign, and was drafted to run in later elections, including 1888 and 1892. Ribbon is crisp w/only minor wear and handling. Exc. Scarce.
