Item Description
This coin was minted by the New Zealand Mint in .9999 fine gold w/milled edges and is 1.28" in diameter. The total mintage of this coin was 500. The obverse of this coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse captures a still frame from the iconic scene where Mickey Mouse is seen cheerfully standing at the boats wheel. Wrapped around the top of the coin is the engraved name of the breakthrough cartoon, Steamboat Willie, and the year of its release, 1928. Comes w/original wooden display box and COA.
