Item Description
1.25x3.5x1.75" tall tin litho by Saalheimer & Strauss c. 1930. Touring rider w/woman passenger and fully enclosed car sidecar resembling an early VW. In similar scale/design to a penny toy. Tires are marked "Success Corps," fender tag is "14." Rider and passenger both wear helmets w/goggles up. Toy works and comes w/key. Travels forward when wound. Minute scattered traces of wear. VF. Great design and detailing. See page 95 of Motorcycle Toys by Gibson-Downs and Gentry.
