Item Description
All coins in this set were minted by the South African Mint. The 1 oz. gold is 1.29" in diameter, the .25 oz. is .65" in diameter and the silver coin is 1.29" in diameter. The set has a total mintage of 3,000 and this set is #828. The obverse depicts an image of Nelson Mandela wearing one of his iconic Madiba shirts, underlined by a wreath made from South Africa's national flower, the King Protea. The reverse on all three coins has a different depiction of Mandela's childhood and his love for children. Comes w/wooden display box and COA.
