Item Description
11x17". Tanned thin paper sign for use by unemployed man selling "Apples 5¢." Small text lower right "Bronx Fruit Dist. Assoc." Minute flakes off extreme top margin and small corner tip off bottom left. Fragile due to nature of cheap paper but remarkably well preserved. Would frame to Exc. appearance. A rare evocative sign from the dark days of the 1930s. See Unemployed Newspaper Vendor button #672.
