Item Description
7.5" long 14k gold link bracelet w/six enameled 14k charms depicting Disney's Jiminy Cricket, Geppetto, the Blue Fairy, Figaro, Pinocchio and Cleo. Back of each charm is marked "© W.D.P. Cartier 14K." Made by Cartier (renowned French jewelry and watch makers/sellers) c. 1940, this high quality piece of jewelry was produced as part of the extensive line of merchandise produced in conjunction w/the original release of Disney's second animated feature film - 1940's Pinocchio - and were prominently advertised within the program for the film's premiere at Center Theatre at Radio City. The charms each measure approx. .75" tall and faithfully replicate the characters from the film, though w/a slight departure in how the Blue Fairy is depicted. Clasp link shows some lt. wear but o/w bracelet is NM. A stunning, top-of-the-line piece from one of the most prestigious jewelry manufacturers in the world. This is the only example of this bracelet we've offered in our 55 years and is among the most incredible Disney items we have had the honor of bringing to auction.
