Item Description
All tin litho toy w/built-in key by Wolverine, 1950s. The "coaster" unit is 3x12x4.25" w/lower track that extends an additional 11". The car is 3" long. Comes in nicely illustrated box showing the toy plus inset image of roller coaster, underside has directions. Top half of box has very st. fade of red color, scattered trace of edge wear, lt. creases on end flap closure tabs. Front side panel has a 1" puncture. Box remains tight and Fine. Body of toy features illustrations on each side of roller coaster w/multiple cars traveling on the tracks. The car itself includes images of passengers at windows. Toy works and the car is set on the top track. When it gets to the bottom of this track, the track itself tips down causing the car to travel to the end of the lower track and then back toward the opposite side of the toy. A rotating mechanism w/pegs then latches onto the car and lifts it up to the top track so that it can repeat this action. Exc. Great design.
