Item Description
Pair of items featuring Led Zeppelin's Swan Song logo. First is 2.5x4.25" laminate luggage tag reading in part "If Found Please Contact Swan Song Inc." w/large "28" on back. These serially numbered tags were only produced into the 40s and were intended for use by the band's inner circle during Fall 1980 North American concert tour. After the tragic death of drummer John Bonham on Sept. 25, 1980, Led Zeppelin's Autumn 1980 North American tour was canceled, w/the remaining members of the band deciding to disband at that point. Tag is Exc. Comes w/embroidered felt patch bearing the same Swan Song image. NM. From the archive of Steve Weiss, Led Zeppelin's lawyer.
