Item Description
3.25" tall w/1.75" silvered brass medallion bearing Bastian Bros. Co. on reverse. Silk ribbon has "Delegate" hand inscribed. Medallion text around border "1912 N.A.W.S.A. 44th Annual Convention Phila 1912." Center features Liberty Bell w/text "Proclaim Liberty Through Out All The Land Unto All The Inhabitants Thereof." Retains much of the original silver application w/overall light wear from limited use. VF. The North American Women's Suffrage Association was the largest and perhaps most important suffrage association in the US. At the time this fob was issued Anna Howard Shaw was president. After success in 1920 the group became known as League of Women Voters.
