Item Description
1.75x10.5x12.5" (two volumes). Anti-suffrage archive meticulously compiled, most likely by an activist within the Massachusetts Association Opposed to the Further Extension of Suffrage to Women (MAOFESW). First album (90 pgs.) is filled with national press coverage of leading suffragettes as if to identify the enemy and the second album is much more specific to the work of the Massachusetts anti-suffrage group working against the 1915 campaign. Includes (21) broadsides, (19) printed photo flyers and (15) pieces of event specific ephemera w/tickets. 20+ pages of anti-suffrage articles, which appear to be from the Remonstrance newspaper. Presented neatly and completely. Loss to spine covers and toning to scrapbook pages. Individual pieces are pasted. Extremely Fine.
