Item Description
23.5x36.5" framed w/22x34.5" opening. Features the 1948 segregationist "Dixiecrat" or "States' Rights Democrat" party ticket. In the center is the Statue of Liberty w/text "States' Rights: Shield Of Your Liberty". In the upper corners are circular name symbols of the ticket that resemble the litho button produced for the campaign. The States' Rights ticket received over 1,000,000 popular votes and won 39 electoral votes, marking one of the most recent examples of a third party winning electoral votes. Poster has creases from folding, otherwise only light surface wear. Retains vibrant color. Extremely Fine. Not examined outside frame.
