Sam, looking like Ben Franklin, is simultaneously handing a note of hire for 1861 to Lincoln as Buchanan packs his things. Published by Currier & Ives 152 Nassau Street, NY late in Lincoln's campaign. VG. Displays bright in modern archival framing w/letter on verso noting repairs: "Folded Into Quarters And Wear At Folds.
