Item Description
Tilden ribbon is 2.25x4.25". Hayes ribbon is 2.25x4.5". Tilden ribbon is bw w/text reading "Democratic Candidates" above their portraits. Hayes ribbon is rwb and has text "Republican Candidates" above. Both have light surface wear and handling. Hayes has slight fading on the blues. Both Extremely Fine. A great pair of ribbons from the contentious 1876 election.
