Item Description
3.5" w/ "Columbia Advertising Co." written on curl. This comes from a set made featuring LBJ and his possible running mates. Also including in the set of potential VPs was Eugene McCarthy, Robert F. Kennedy, Hubert Humphrey, Edmund Brown, and Robert McNamara, just to name a few. Stevenson was an elder statesman in the Democratic Party at the time, having run twice for president himself. Stevenson ultimately was not nominated and died unexpectedly shortly after the 1964 election while serving as the UN Ambassador on a trip in London. Moderate surface wear in reflected light and a slight bump from the back pin. Still Exc.
