Item Description
Pair of buttons. 1.75" dia. button in University of Illinois orange/blue school colors is from the era when Red Grange was on the team (1923-1925). Surface has slight indent only noticeable to the touch but is o/w clean, glossy and Fine. 1.25" dia. real photo (no dot screen) has "Red Grange" name at top and shows Grange from waist up football uniform w/"Chicago Bears" team name at bottom. c. 1930. Tiny age around the reverse collet and tiny stain on bottom rim blending somewhat w/text. Fine overall. Rare. The last Red Grange item in the Paul Muchinsky Collection.
