2.75" large oval with metal back and bar pin. No maker name. Reads: "Tacoma Automobile Races Flagman 1912." Speedway, in Lakewood, a Tacoma suburb, opened year of this button (July 1) 1912 and operated until 1922 hosting racing greats "Terrible" Teddy Tetzlaff, Earl Cooper, Barney Oldfield & others. Button has 1/8" and .25" air spots, faint 1/8" spot at lower right edge and tiny surface wear showing only in reflected light.
