Item Description
14x22" on cardboard by "T. J. Hayes Printing Co. New York City." Headlines "Re-Elect Governor/Lieut. Governor" respectively w/slogan along bottom edge. Slightest bump on upper right corners. Otherwise moderate even age toning and minor handling. Extremely Fine. Having experienced the Wall Street crash during his first term as Governor, FDR approached this re-election campaign continuing the themes of his 1928 campaign reiterating to voters that "Progressive Government By Its Very Terms Must Be A Living And Growing Thing" and calling for unemployment insurance as well as old-age pensions. The policies helped him stay put in the Governor's mansion and foreshadowed the programs he would later develop as President.
