Item Description
2.75" oval button with lightly worn "Host" attached ribbon. This famous train, developed and built by Pullman - Standard Car Manufacturing Company (see Pullman related bicycle item #637) was introduced in a nationwide tour in 1947, traveling 65,000 miles. Each of 4 cars had an "Astra Dome" and they were pulled by a 2,000 hp. diesel locomotive. Hake book Collectible Pin-Back Buttons photo example should have been listed as Transportation but is listed as World's Fair Section #316. Comes with Hake's COA. Cello is Exc., displays Mint. Very limited issue. Second seen. Rare.
