Item Description
1.25" shows six firemen with names and ranks who died in a bedding factory fire in the west end. Backpaper by W&H with bold text "In Memorium Merrimac St. Fire, Feb. 5th, 1898." Five of the men were from station Engine 38. Couple faint age dots at 5 o'clock on rim. On back small bits of cello failed to fold under collet with 3/16" segment that has small 1/16" split across curl but no split on the button's front.
