Item Description
22.5x35". Linen backed. Large poster shows 3 smaller posters with text at top including "These Posters Have Been Reproduced And Distributed By The Education Section, War Saving Staff Treasury Department Through The State War Savings Offices. To Display, Cut Them Apart As Indicated By The Dotted Lines." Several adjacent paragraphs explain that these posters were designed by students at The United States Indian School in Santa Fe, New Mexico. "The Larger Poster, By Ben Quintana, Is Especially Interesting Because It Shows What Indian Children Actually Must Do To Help. It Describes Better Than Words What It Is Like To Ride For Miles Over The Bright, Bare Cactus-studded Land and Buy War Stamps At A Desert Post Office." Bright, clean, interesting. Fine.
