Item Description
9x11". Dated March 10, 1938. Features Governor Herbert Lehman in the center as a boxer "Killer Lehman Knockerouter De Luxe". Surrounding him on a six-leafed clover are his political rivals, including Thomas Dewey, Bob Jackson, Bill Bleakley, etc. The Albany Legislative Correspondents Association put on an annual satirical "stunt dinner" highlighting the current events in NY and national politics. Contents include satirical songs as well as a "cast" list for a mock play based on current political events. Light scattered surface wear and handling. VF. An interesting piece of NY political history.
