Item Description
9x11". Dated March 15, 1945. Front cover features FDR as a pirate alongside his political allies (Henry Wallace, etc.), telling Thomas Dewey "Black Tom", to walk the plank. The Albany Legislative Correspondents Association put on an annual satirical "stunt dinner" highlighting the current events in NY and national politics. Contents include satirical songs as well as a "cast" list for a mock play based on current political events. Light scattered surface wear and handling. VF. An interesting piece of NY political history.
