Item Description
3x6.5". Paper mounted. Text on ribbon reading "1840 Tip, Tyler and Reform. Virginia; Democratic always, but Loco Foco Never." Interesting to note that this was a Democratic club opposed to Martin Van Buren and in favor of his Whig opponent, William Henry Harrison. Some areas of ribbon loss along the top and bottom edges, as well as faint scattered staining and some creasing. Otherwise, slight even age toning and moderate surface wear/handling. VG.
