#1198 from 1936. Story deals w/Abner going to New York City. Reprints early story art from famous newspaper strip by Al Capp. Cover features Abner taking coin from Mammy's hand. Pages are off-white to cream-colored and supple. Back cover features portraits of Abner, Mammy and Pappy Yokum and Daisy Mae. Very lt. handling wear, corner tip wear but is VF.
