Item Description
15x23" framed. Top text reads "Voters Please Take Notice". Left side features "Democratic National Ticket" w/ Wilson and Marshall, while the right is "Democratic State Ticket" which lists the state candidates, most notably William Sulzer for Governor of New York. Both Wilson and Sulzer won their respective elections, however, Sulzer was impeached and convicted in 1913, less than a year after his term in office began. He was a reformer as governor and his opposition to the machine politics of Tammany Hall led to his removal. He is the only Governor of New York to be convicted on articles of impeachment. Poster has moderate wear, most notable a few tears along the top edge that detract little. VF.
