Item Description
c. 1920. Large pendant measures 2x1-1/8". Art Deco necklace features a genuine oval faceted amethyst measuring 28mm by 22mm weighing approximately 40 carats. Enhanced by natural seed pearls and embellished by an antique cushion cut amethyst on the bail measuring 7mm by 5mm and weighing 0.50 carats. The necklace is set in 14K yellow gold and completed by a 14K yellow gold 16" chain. For complete accuracy, we do note some slight blemishes on the table (the flat facet of the stone) of the large, deep purple amethyst, which can only be seen in reflected light and in no way detracts from this stunning necklace. A truly outstanding piece!
