c. 1900. 23.0 dwt. Very desirable 18K yellow gold Riker Brothers Art Nouveau tourmaline bangle bracelet. Interior dia. of the bracelet is 2.5x.5". Jeweler's mark is present on the inside of the bracelet. Bracelet depicts chased water lilies and lily pads incorporating five round plaques around the bracelet. Each plaque is bezel set with a genuine cushion cut green tourmaline stone. There is some abrasion on the stones under magnification from normal wear, but this is not distracting. Riker Brothers was a Newark, NJ jewelry company that made beautiful gold, platinum and plique-á-jour enameled pieces from 1873 to the 1940s. A lovely bracelet with an infrequently seen stone.
