Item Description
c. 1895-1914. Pendant measures 2x2" and total weight is 11.9 grams. Gorgeous Carlo & Arthur Giuliano Victorian 14K yellow gold cross pendant with green enamel serpents and eight round cut faceted garnets accented with five pearls. Hallmark on back shown as C&A G. Comes w/original presentation case. Case has overall wear, especially on all corners. Very little wear to the green enamel. On reverse of pendant one pearl has luster loss and another has a hairline, but only visible under magnification. A wonderful example of Victorian era jewelry with exquisite craftsmanship. Carlo Giuliano worked for several prestigious firms in London before setting up his own retail shop in 1874-1875. His sons Carlo and Arthur joined him in the business and continued it after his death in 1895. They closed their retail location in 1914.
