This 1897 printing has text added at bottom of front cover reading "© By Hubbard Pub'g Co. 1897-Entered At Stationers Hall/Ward, Lock & Co. Ltd. Warwick House, Salisbury Square, London, E.O." Rear cover top reads "In Presenting This Little Book/We Hope To Give The Little Ones Something That May Prove To Be Both Interesting And Pleasing And Remind The Older Ones Of The Fact That...Jacob Brothers/195 And 1059 Broadway, Brooklyn, Are Offering A Thoroughly Up To Date Piano, Embodying All The Most Advanced Ideas And Improvements In Piano Construction, And Finished In All Styles Of Cases As Such." Text goes on to explain "Low Prices And Easy Terms." Lower text includes "Factory/539, 541 & 543 W. 39th Street, New York/Agency At O. C. Perkins & Co., Rockland, Mass." Tiny corner off at bottom spine, .5x2" minor lt. stain on back cover lower corner, front bottom margin has .75x1.5" lt. stain and a few scattered dots in some areas. Overall exceptionally bright and clean. Six extraordinary illustrations are in color and inside back cover has full page ad for "Scourene" soap. Near VF. Rare.
