Item Description
Lot of five. © 1932. First is 8.5x11" letter to potential Society member reminding them to eat their Wheaties. Facsimile signature "Skippy Skinner Grand Exaultant President." Next is 8.5x17" folded card divided into three sections. Top portion gives "The Skippy Pledge For The SSSS." Lower portion is divided into two sections w/one being designed for mailing pre-addressed to "Skipper Skinner." This card was used "To Become A Life Member Of The S.S.S.S." Remaining portion is titled "Use This Card To Become A Captain In The S.S.S.S." Folded as issued. Lt. surface dust but overall bright and VF. Usually found as three separate pieces. Next is 4x6" fold-over "Life Membership Certificate." Inside has instructions to the Secret Society Code. Next is 7/8" club member's celluloid button showing Skippy w/original W&H back paper. Exc. All items come in original 9x11.25" envelope w/surface dust and handling creases. A nice, extensive grouping. Paper items are VF, button is Exc.
