Item Description
Only fourth example we’ve seen of this badge known as a Lone Ranger c. 1940-1950 premium giving the Deputy Chief rank to those forming a Lone Ranger club. See Hake’s Guide LON-329. This badge was also used by Kellogg’s Rice Krispies as an official Tim McCoy badge. 2” tall high quality brass w/very low serial number (1719) at center and red enamel paint on headdress feather tips. Reverse has slide-off secret compartment panel and bar pin. Four small tarnish dots on headdress and one on upper left. Extremely Fine. Rare. Probably the lowest serial number we’ve seen on any premium badge or ring.
