Item Description
8.5x11". Delegate certification dated April 11, 1956. Certifying Carl V. Soderback as a delegate representing the state of Oregon at the SLP convention held in New York City on May 5, 1956. Border features detailed symbols of the SLP Party and labor causes more general. The convention nominated Eric Hass and Georgia Olive Cozzini for the presidency and vice presidency. The SLP received only 44,000 votes in the election out of the 62,000,000 votes cast. Back has four small tape repairs, w/ vertical fold lines. VF.
