Rare ring offered very briefly by Quaker Cereals in the summer of 1941 w/expiration date of 8/30/41 and promotional text in ads instruct to order “Before Orphan Annie Comes Back On The Air Next Fall.” Ring has “SG” initials on each side while top has her portrait covered by a small magnifying glass in a brass frame which has a pin on upper edge so the frame could be turned to the side. Lens frame edge has st. luster loss, barely visible unless viewed with magnifier. Ring top w/her portrait and base has gorgeous brilliant luster about 98% complete. Overall NM and among the select few high grade examples known.
