Item Description
Same basic design as club button used from the early 1940s through the early 1960s but that is typically 1.25” and this is the rarely seen 7/8” size. It’s uncertain whether this size was ever distributed to club members and most likely this size was produced in a tiny quantity for test purposes as the couple examples we know of seem to have come out of DC Comics files years ago. We’ve seen about four in 40 years. Rare.
New information- This was only issued with the 1941 club members kit. In 1942 the kit was issued with a patch not a button.
